October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. This was my first time publicly sharing my story in an effort to bring awareness and a voice to the impact it has on those victimized. I was nervous and anxious, but knew that me sharing my story could spread awareness and help potentially save lives.

Trigger Warning: These images might be disturbing to victims/ survivors.

Thank you WSYX Channel 6 News and the Columbus Division of Police for allowing me to share my story.
