About the Event

H.E.A.L is always free of charge and open to young ladies/ women (16+) of all backgrounds regardless of sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, or race. We promote healing through sharing, honesty, and deep conversation centered around hope, empowerment, acceptance, and love.

Relationships are a key topic in the group. Women often struggle with relationships and healthy boundaries, which can positively impact our relationships. At times we have difficulty understanding why we can’t make the right connections or make our existing connections work better.

With a support group, women can get the healing support of other women, which is a POWERFUL force. Being among people with shared experiences and situations creates a unique emotional identification that is different from the type of support obtained from a professional. Being able to open up without fear of being judged or hurting someone they love makes them feel accepted and allows them to begin the healing process.

The biggest advantage of this support group and others like it is in helping women realize that they are not alone and that other people have similar problems and struggles.

Discovering others that share similar experiences, helps reduce feelings of isolation and hopelessness.

Women can get compassion and feedback that helps them find new possibilities or leads to enlightenment and changes in their journey.  Women in our support group give each other the priceless gift of offering hope, empowerment with acceptance, and love for each other to make progress for their future.

What to Expect:

H.E.A.L. is an open forum that is a relaxed, comfortable, safe and supportive environment for women to explore and discuss their problems and issues where honesty is encouraged and accepted. Our group members learn to better handle their everyday stresses Each of the ladies attending is amazing and brings something unique to the group through their experiences, and we're sure you will too!

We discuss everything from single life, relationships, mental illness, domestic abuse, codependency, divorce, grief, and other challenges.

Participation:

New members are never pressured to share in the group discussion; they have permission to listen and lay low. 😊 However, to ensure that current members also feel comfortable being vulnerable; we ask that everyone participate in the introduction as well as the check-in/ check-out. Beyond that, new members are welcome to listen and observe until they feel comfortable engaging in the group discussion.

Camera's On:

IMPORTANT*

To safeguard the group and our attendees; everyone who registers/attends will be required to join visually to ensure everyone joining is permitted; joining and not being visible on the camera will not be allowed.

Attendees are asked to keep the camera’s on throughout the meeting unless: it’s a hazard (i.e., driving); they need to step away, or they are remote and can only participate by listening inKeeping our cameras on allows cohesiveness within the group and allows everyone to feel they are being heard and that we are all holding space and time for each other by being attentive and respectful as we all speak.
