October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. This was my first time publicly sharing my story during a press release with NBC4, WSYX- 6 and WBNS-10TV in an effort for the Columbus Division of Police to bring awareness and a voice to the impact it has on those victimized. I was nervous and anxious, but knew that me sharing my story could spread awareness and help potentially save lives.
